Becoming a DCSNE Member

Each applicant shall apply in person on a form approved by the Board of Directors and which shall provide that the applicant agrees to abide by the Constitution and Bylaws of the Club and the rules of The American Kennel Club. Said form shall include the name, address and occupation of the applicant and shall carry the endorsement of two (2) members in good standing. Accompanying the application, the prospective member shall submit dues payable for the current year. The applicant will need to agree to and sign the ethical guidelines which will be pages two and three of the application.

All applications are to be filed with the Secretary and each application is to be read at the first meeting of the Club following its receipt. At the next Club meeting, the application will be voted upon by secret ballot and affirmative votes of 2/3 of the members present and voting at the meeting shall be required to elect the applicant.

No member of the Club may endorse more than four (4) applicants for membership in any one calendar year.
